Are accommodations furnished specifically for disabled/differently abled persons available?

No, there are no accommodations at the park that are furnished specifically for persons with a disability.

If you have limited mobility, the Star type bungalows or the Zuiderzee State and Residence Sudersee apartments may be an option because they are located on a single floor. An elevator is available in both apartment buildings. The Beach Villa Royal, the Beach Villa XL and most of the Beach, Dune and Fisherman's Villas for eight persons have a bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor as well.

We also rent out grab rails for the bath that you can install yourself as well as handholds with suction cups. You can include them as extras in your booking.

What is the maximum number of persons allowed at the accommodation?

The description of the accommodation indicates for how many persons the accommodation is suitable. This number matches the number of available beds and is also the maximum number of people allowed. Due to safety regulations, it is not allowed for more persons to stay at the accommodation. This means no extra beds/air mattresses can be installed.

Children up to two years of age are accepted as an extra person (up to 2 per accommodation). However, the child will have to sleep in a children's bed. You will have to pay resort taxes for children, but not for babies.

Are no-smoking accommodations available at the park?

Yes, all accommodations are no-smoking. Smoking is not allowed at the accommodation or apartment.

Is it possible to park the car at the accommodation?

At least 2 parking spots are available at the bungalows and villas. As many as 3 parking spots are available at the accommodations for 8 to 12 persons. The apartments Zuiderzee State have 1 parking spot and the apartments Residence Sudersee have space for 1 car in the parking garage in addition to a parking spot outside. You will find a general parking area at the park's entrance, where any additional cars can be parked.

Is bed linen obligatory? Is it possible to have the beds made?

Yes, bed linen is obligatory and costs €10 per person. If you would like the beds to have been made when you arrive, you can indicate so while making your booking. The costs for this are €12.50 per bed. If you want a change of bed linen during your stay, you can collect it at reception (at a charge).

Are towel packages/kitchen towel packages available?

No, these are not included by default but they can be ordered as an extra or picked up at reception during your stay. The associated costs are: Towel package (1 bath sheet and 1 bath towel): €9.50 per package. Kitchen towel package (2 tea towels and 1 kitchen towel): €8.50 per package.

Is internet access available?

Most accommodations at the park have internet, except for the accommodation Middelgronden 40A and the apartment Zuiderzee State 27. You can use the free WiFi network at the main building and at the patio.

Does Beach Resorts Makkum also offer pitches and/or camper pitches?

No, we only rent out accommodations (bungalows, villas and apartments). Pitching tents or letting guests stay at a camper/caravan at the park or in the parking area is not allowed.
